Music, movement, community and a good cause: Together with Ghetto Radio Kenya, Schlawindl is launching the Fairtrade Move Dance Challenge in Kenya!
The challenge brings people together through music and dance and invites everyone to become part of the Fairtrade Move community.
At the heart of the challenge is our song “Fairtrade Move”. Kenyan creators are showing their own moves to the song – and now it’s your turn!
What is the Dance Challenge?
The idea is simple: listen to Fairtrade Move, get inspired by our creators and record your own dance video.
You can dance on your own, together with friends, with your family or as a group. You don’t have to be a professional dancer – it’s all about having fun, being creative and showing us your own Fairtrade Move.
And of course, by taking part you also get the chance to win great prizes!
How to participate
Taking part is easy:
- Visit the official Challenge page and discover all the information about the campaign.
- Watch the videos from our creators and get inspired by their Fairtrade Moves.
- Turn on “Fairtrade Move” and record your own dance video.
- Upload your video using the official Challenge upload form.
- Follow the instructions on the Challenge page to complete your participation and increase your chances in the prize draw.

More than just a Dance Challenge
For us, Fairtrade Move is about more than just dancing.
The project connects music, movement and social engagement and brings people from Germany and Kenya together. Children and young people from both countries have already taken part in the international Fairtrade Move project, showing how music can create connections across borders.
With the Schlawindl & Ghetto Radio Dance Challenge, we now want to take this idea one step further and invite even more people to join the movement.
